Born and raised in Los Alamos in 1968, Erica (Lindholm) Hoverter has always made New Mexico her home. She works in the medium of mosaic, using recycled glass, handmade clay tiles, and stained glass. Hoverter created the 38 mosaic panels for a large scale public art installation in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She has shown her work at various galleries, The Fine Art exhibit at Expo New Mexico, and her architectural installations have been featured in Su Casa magazine. Her passion for the medium, fueled her desire to be self-taught, in addition to attending courses at The Institute Of Mosaic Art. Hoverter is currently working on private commissions in both mosaic and illustration.
